User Experience Accomplishment | 1984

IBM researchers: John D. Gould, Stephen J. Boies, Stephen Levy, John T. Richards, Jim Schoonard

Where the work was done: IBM T.J. Watson Research Center

What we accomplished: A voice communications messaging system for self-selected groups that featured a novel message notification system based on an early object-oriented language from IBM Research. It supported blended synchronous and asychronous messages and had a methodology for soliciting user needs.
