Quantum Computational Science - overview
Computational science is an early application space for quantum computing. Our global research teams include experts in computational science and related fields. With IBM's leadership in Quantum Computing and Quantum Chemistry and Science, we will continue to advance the use of quantum computers for the simulation of molecules, chemistry, and materials. The mission of the Quantum Computational Science PIC will be to advance IBM's leadership in Quantum Computing and Quantum Applications in Quantum Chemistry and in other scientific domains. Specifically, we will promote key collaborations with top universities and academic researchers, promote the development of an ecosystem that supports computational science, and builds on our strong reputation in the field, raising IBM’s profile at key venues.
