Smartest Machine on Earth
The PBS show "NOVA" aired a one hour documentary on Watson, IBM's breakthrough question answering computing system. The show was titled
"Smartest Machine on Earth."
The first ever Man vs. Machine Jeopardy match will air on February 14, 15 and 16. IBM's Watson machine plays against Jeopardy champions Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter.
Watson's voice is IBM's own text to speech synthesizer, crafted by several user interface technology researchers.
