What we accomplished: Unstructured Information Management Architecture (UIMA) is an OASIS standard as of March 2009. To date, UIMA is the only industry standard for content analytics. It signaled a major advance in handling real-world unstructured information, which is typically text-heavy, but may also contain dates, numbers and facts.
