1990-1992 : NYU Ultracomputer Lab
I was a Research Assistant building the software, primarily porting the Unix-based parallel operating system, to the AMD 29000-based Ultracomputer III.
1985-1987 : Lockheed Palo Alto Research Lab (LPARL)
I worked on adaptive mirror systems for correction of atmospheric distrubances. I designed the housing for the mirror to work in a low-light level (i.e. star gazing) environment. I also worked on nano-pointing experiments as part of Ronald Reagan's "star wars" effort.
Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences (CASS) at UC San Diego
While an undergraduate studying physics at UCSD, I did data analysis of cosmic ray detector streams from Pioneer 10 and 11 spacecraft.
