profile
I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science awarded by Lancaster University where I was funded by Ford Motor Co. to work on the project "Transparent Deep Learning Classifier of Driving Scenarios able to Identify and Learn from Unseen Situations" where I developed new explainable-by-design deep learning algorithms for different driving situations. I also worked as a senior research associate at the TAS-S: UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous System Node in Security at Lancaster University where I developed new algorithms for novelty detection and adversarial attacks identification. During my masters, I have been awarded with the best student paper during the IEEE World Congress on Computational Intelligence (WCCI-2018) for the paper "Incremental gaussian granular fuzzy modeling applied to hurricane track forecasting".
