Reasoning - Conferences
The PICs have had a long history of supporting academic venues, both materially as well as in terms of expertise and participation. Currently, the PICs maintain two lists of conferences that are constantly reviewed and updated.
PIC Top Conferences
The PIC top conference list refers to the most prestigious peer-reviewed conferences in the PIC area (Reasoning). Among the characteristics of these venues:
- They seek to publish only the highest quality and most influential papers. It is hard to get a paper accepted.
- They attract the best papers from top researchers. Acceptance in a PIC top-quality conference or journal is a significant technical achievement.
The current Reasoning PIC top conference list (with date of last review) is as follows:
- AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (09/16/2015)
- AAMAS International Conference on Autonomous Agents & Multiagent Systems (09/16/2015)
- AISTATS International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Statistics (09/16/2015)
- COLT Conference on Learning Theory (09/16/2015)
- ECAI European Conference on Artificial Intelligence (09/16/2015)
- ICAPS International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (09/16/2015)
- ICRA IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (09/16/2015)
- IJCAI International Joint Conference on AI (09/16/2015)
- KR Principles of Knowledge Representation and Reasoning (09/16/2015)
- NIPS Conference on Neural Information Processing Systems (09/16/2015)
- UAI Conference on Uncertainty in Artificial Intelligence (09/16/2015)
PIC Targeted Conferences
The targeted conference list features smaller (and newer) venues that showcase research that IBM researchers are currently working on and interested in. The current list of Reasoning-PIC targeted venues (with date of latest review) is:
- ALT: International Conference on Algorithmic Learning (11/09/2015)
- EC: ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (11/09/2015)
